GUFL Introduction
Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL) is located in Nanning City, the permanent site of the China-ASEAN Expo, the central city of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Founded in June 2004, it is the first non-governmental undergraduate university in Guangxi to be upgraded to a regular undergraduate university, and the only independent foreign languages-based regular undergraduate university in Guangxi.
The University has 2 campuses, Wuhe Campus and Konggang Campus. Now the University has over 32, 000 full-time students(Data as of September 2024)and teaching buildings of about 1666,667 square meters. GUFL offers 63 programs, including undergraduate and vocational programs. It is considered to be the university with the largest number of foreign language majors in Guangxi province as it offers 13 foreign language programs, such as Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Indonesian. According to a report by Guangxi News Network in 2023, the number of international students in our university ranks first among private universities in China; Additionally, in the "Top 300 International Competitiveness Rankings of China Private Universities" published by Jingling New International Entrepreneurial Era Network, our university was ranked first in the country in 2024 rankings.

Registration Process
1.Non-Chinese citizens, in good health, with no criminal record, friendly to China, and meet the health standards for international students studying in China as stipulated by the Ministry of Education (those who fail the physical examination upon arrival will not be registered);
2.Good conduct, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, as well as the university's rules and regulations, and respect Chinese customs and traditions;
3.Have an educational background equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma, aged between 18 and 35 years old; for students who have acquired citizenship through naturalization or birth, but whose parents are of Chinese descent, they must hold a valid foreign passport or proof of nationality for at least 4 years (including), and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the last 4 years (up to April 30th of the year of admission) (living in a foreign country for at least 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, based on entry and exit stamps);
4.Chinese-taught programs must provide a HSK-4 certificate (with a score of 180 or above);
5.Please download the relevant application form from our official website at https://www.gxufl.com, fill in the information, scan it, and send the application materials via email to the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges (guf_inter@126.com) by 30th June , 2025 for review.
Admission and Registration
Our university will review the application and submit it to the relevant authorities for approval. Once the application is approved, we will contact you via email (the email address you used to send the application) and provide you with the admission documents (Letter of Admission and Visa Application Form), so that you can apply for a study visa to come to China (X1 or X2 visa).
